We spent part of a day wandering in the Invalides area with Paris travel expert Larry Davis (please see his fantastic site called Experience Paris), ending up on the fabled Rue Cler street and having lunch at the wonderful Café du Marché. Along the way we stopped at the Eiffel Tower, the Pont Alexandre III bridge and the beautiful lawns in front of the Hôtel des Invalides where there were a bunch of kids playing a fierce rugby match in the mud. I couldn’t resist the bright colors and fast action so we stopped and I grabbed a few shots. I don’t claim to be a sports shooter, but I love how these images show the grit and determination of the players!

Great photos, but the girl scored a ‘try’ not a ‘goal’ !
Hey thanks for the clarification Colin!
