Check out this amazing place!  Airplane interiors engineer Steve Sauer made his tiny basement room in a Seattle residential building into a fully functional living space.  The only thing not in this photo is the beautiful walk-in shower room opposite the kitchen counter on the left.  The blue glow behind the stool is from the TV which is tucked away in the cabinet.  In the very bottom of the photo you can see the in-floor tub and in the upper right is a loft bed.  And, amazingly, the dining table on the left flips up and seats 7.  It was really great meeting Steve and seeing his amazing design and carpentry work!  Read the full story in Seattle Met Magazine.
