The new iPhone operating system is packed with new features but there is one I discovered which is a game changer for photographers- the new software allows for larger photo file sizes. Now I can send a shot I took with my Nikon to my iPhone and use my incredible collection of photo apps to process the file in ways not possible with my computer. Here is my first try. It is a black and white image of cormorants resting on a dock in Anacortes, WA. I emailed it to my iPhone and added tinting (Photo fx), blur (TiltShift) and a vignette (Best Camera).
