Next is the small town of Las Trampas where people flock to see San José de Gracia De Las Trampas Church.  It was built between 1760 and 1776 and is considered one of the best-preserved Spanish Colonial churches in New Mexico.  Unfortunately I couldn’t get inside.  A very nice man named Juan told me who had the key but they weren’t around, maybe next time.  Up the road from the church is this old barn, a perfect match for a perfectly beautiful New Mexico sky.
