When my wife and I were first getting to know each other, she flirtatiously invited me on a date to Paris.  20 years later, we finally went and it was fantastic!  In fact, Paris was so amazing that I am at a loss for words. My friend Dana at the Panda Lab in Seattle used the term “Stupendous” – and that might come close.  Although this wasn’t an official photo trip we both had a great time taking pictures wherever we went.  We stayed at a wonderful B&B called Au Sourire de Montmartre where Ilhame and her staff made us the most wonderful Parisian breakfast every morning and always greeted us with smiles.

I took 3000+ photos and it is hard to pick only a handful for the blog.  I think I will take a select few from the areas we visited and do several posts, starting with Montmartre, the 300 meter hill on the North side of Paris which is capped by the beautiful Basilica Sacré Cœur.
