A time-honored end of Summer tradition lives on in Puyallup, Washington every year where the Western Washington State Fair is held. It is the biggest yearly event in the state and is one of the top 10 fairs in the country. A great time can be had riding the rickety old amusement rides, throwing away piles of money playing games of chance, petting cute little animals and eating some of the most expensive and worst food imaginable. There are also many great photo opportunities and I thank my family for allowing me to run away from time to time so I could capture a bit of the the visual smörgåsbord. The first image is a composite of night/day. I honestly didn’t plan it, just merged two similar files I came across when editing.
